Ledkeeper2 exe что это

If you are like me and have RBG RAM that is not supported by OpenRGB. Then you are forced to use MSI Center/Dragon Center.

However, LEDKeeper2.exe does not need to be kept running. It just needs(?) to run when the computer starts/you log in. Then it can just be off.

Luckily MSI had a task scheduler task set to run LEDKeeper2.exe. So you can edit it to close after 1 minute of run time.

Also make sure «If the task fails, restart. » is not ticked. It wasn’t for me, but it might be for you. Just make sure it is unticked. Edit* Unless it fails alot, tick it and then change the stop time above to 2 minutes (as the restart time needs to be smaller than the stop time).

Now LEDKeeper2.exe will just turn itself of, saving you from having to use taskmanager to close it everytime.

LEDkeeper2 Errors and DC installs Foreign Version of C++ (Troubleshooting Dragon Center / Mystic Light issues on x570)

PROBLEM: x570 Carbon Pro Currently dark and not responding to Mystic Light: Motherboard IO Cover, Mystic Light, JRainbow1 and JRainbow2

I think I’ve nailed down a few issues After clean windows installs and watching logs, events and changes to directories, files & registry, I am hoping it can lead us towards a fix from MSI or someone that knows more about this stuff. I’ve been trying to avoid RMA and was hoping I could find a solution (ugh). It was working fine one day and next morning it was dark. this was weeks ago. I have tried literally everything posted on both this forum and MSI_Gaming subreddit.

NOTES:
-I’m not sure which version of DC was originally working but it would have been a June download.
-I have done much of the following multiple times: Uninstall DC using diagnostic tool; updated bios, pushed bios back, cleared cmos, install DC 2.5, Install 2.7, Install directly from Microsoft Store.
-Always rebooted between uninstalls and installs.
-Changed file properties of all DC Services to Run as Administrator
-Originally I had Razer Synapse 3 for Keyboard, Wraith Prism Coolermaster Settings Software and EVGA Precision X1 but on new win installs I’m using a plain jane old Dell keyboard and have not re-installed any of the above or any other software for that matter (even though they were all working happily last month).

The MSI SDK does not come bundled with the Dragon Center Installation download. Trying to get older versions of Dragon Center to work (I think) may be irrelevant because it is always downloading the most recent version of the file OneDC_SDK.exe during installation. I really wish MSI would leave us some links to older versions of the Dragon Center Software, including their SDK.
I have been in this rabbit hole for too long and hoping someone can help ledkeeper2 exe что этоI hope this all makes sense, thanks for any input

LEDKeeper2.exe continuously crashing and restarting.

jasonrj

I’m not sure why, everything has been working fine for a couple days but today LEDKeeper2.exe has started crashing about once every 15 seconds. It’s very annoying because it causes a system error and sound. My LEDs no longer work either.

See attachment for what appears in my system log repeatedly.

Please tell us your system spec
If you are using a Z390 motherboard, please update Mystic Light to 1.0.0.28 through Dragon Center.

Ryzen 7 3700X
Windows 10 Home 64 bit

I don’t see where it says what version of Mystic Light I have but Dragon Center is version 1.0.0.58.

That’s what I originally had and it was working until today when this problem started. I completely uninstalled, and I continued to get the system sounds for a disconnect and connected device which is the sounds I get repeatedly when this application crashes. However, without it installed there was no LEDKeeper2.exe showing up in the system log at the times corresponding to when I heard the error sounds. So while uninstalled the error sounds just kept going for some unknown reason.

I installed a different version of Dragon Center (mentioned above) which I found but it also had the same issue.

I’ve now gone back to this version, the same problem continues about every 5-10 seconds it crashes.

Dragon Center showed that there was a newer version of Mystic Light, but not as high a version as you mentioned earlier.

I tried to have it download it but the first time it just closed abruptly, the second time I got the attached error.

It failed to install but now says all my utilities are the current version anyways.

Ok I downloaded Dragon Center 1.0.25.0 as recommended and installed. Immediately during install it took me to http://liveupdate.msi.com/autobios/OneDC/Release/OneDC_SDK.exe in my browser and downloaded this file so I downloaded and installed that as well, then Dragon Center proceeded with its installation. Then I restarted.

After restarting I opened Dragon Center, it says everything is up to date. I went to Mystic Light and tried applying different lighting styles just like I did early yesterday and the day prior before this problem developed. Still, nothing works. No LEDs come on at all.

I’m wondering if there’s a motherboard failure? That may also explain the sound I’m hearing. I thought it was an error due to the program crashing but now I continue to get this sound every 5-10 seconds even after a format and fresh Windows install. What it actually is after some research is the Windows Device Disconnect and Device Connect sounds back to back. So my computer thinks something is repeatedly disconnecting and reconnecting. I can’t determine what it thinks is doing this though because there is no notifications popping up or anything happening other than the sounds constantly playing. Nothing is connected to this computer except my keyboard and mouse and they both function fine.

And, to top it all off, I’m still getting these errors in my system log. However, since fresh installing everything the errors are less frequent (it was happening every single time I get the Device Disconnect and Device Connect sounds which is about every 5 seconds:
