Nice stainless steel exhaust system at a.
Really nice stainless steel exhaust system from Special Parts Takegawa at a great price here on Webike. If you are looking to get rid of the quite Honda OEM exhaust system but still wish to retain the factory look of your Honda Monkey then this is the exhaust system for you. This exhaust gives the little 50cc engine a nice note that you can now hear. Fit and finish of the exhaust is very nice and I do like the fact that if required in the future repacking of the muffler is made simple by the the use of rivets in the end cap. Comes with everything you need for a successful installation.
Light weight and beautiful exhaust note
This up style exhaust from Over Racing in my opinion is the best exhaust available for the Honda Monkey with a non standard engine. The full titanium exhaust header and muffler allow for the lightest possible exhaust system. The exhaust note that now comes from this little engine it just beautiful and has to be heard to be understood. The price of this exhaust is high but the quality of the build and materials used reflect this and I just love how once you fit the Honda OEM exhaust shield it all looks very original and does not standout like a sore thumb like some exhausts do on this little bikes.

Style is good
I bought this for my ’21 SR400.The installation is still to be done, but my impression of the actual product is as expected.I wanted to make this Forme but wanted to keep the volume down.Exhaust pipe side is Honeycomb structure and Tail side has Baffle too.The above parts are Riveted, but the Rivet is not visible from the front side.Because it is not the exhaust system which only wrapped the Glass Wool, the muffling performance seems to be able to be expected for a long time.The Plating finish is also beautiful.As a reminder, if it is a 21 year old, it does not correspond to Japanese Vehicle Inspection.
Anyway, it makes driving smoother.
I already had SP Tadao’s Exhaust pipe and it was easy enough to ride, but with the Slip-on Silencer it is even easier to drive.I think the large difference from the OEM Exhaust System is the 2nd to 3rd gear.When I replaced the Exhaust pipe, I couldn’t pull 1st gear anymore, and 2nd gear was a little difficult to use, so I had to use 3rd gear to deal with the Curve, etc.After changing the Exhaust System to the SP Chuunao, 2nd gear became easier to use, and as a result, I can pull in about 3rd gear, which makes it easier to drive around town.Torque in 4th and 5th gear is also good, and I can increase the speed enough before going to 6th gear to enjoy driving. I’m very happy with it.This time, I dared to put a Stainless Steel one on the SEdition.The reason why I wanted to get the Accent was because I had been wearing the Matte Black one for a while. Of course, the price is cheap, but when I actually put it on, it is a good feeling.If you’re looking to make your SEdition a little more RetroSports, I’d recommend the Stainless Steel.
Measured noise level
I forgot to post the aforementioned processing and noise measurement values when I installed it. 72.4dB at Idling (A) and quieter than the OEMSilencer at 87.7dB at 7,500rpm (A) and it was the same etc.Level as OEMSilencer.
Silencer that doesn’t ruin the NORMAL at.
I decided to buy this because it is a MaterialSilencer with a very similar shape to the OEM. It comes with a very elaborate emblem but I stripped it off and installed it. It is Exhaust System of SP Tadao that the making and accuracy are very good. However, it is better not to expect the volume too much because the volume and the sound quality are almost the same as OEM, and the change by having changed is hardly felt. It is not the Exhaust System which seems to be good at the release, and it did not say that the high rotation extends. I think that it is a good exhaust system if it is from the aspect of the corrosion prevention by the lightening and the Stainless Steel, and Japanese Vehicle Inspection Correspondence because it becomes light compared with NORMAL a little. Although the price is high.
♪ Good sound ♪
It is not JMCA Correspondence.The sound is great even with the Baffle on.I used it with SP Tadao’s Front pipe, but the diameter of Pipe is slightly different, so you need to use Liquid Gas or Aluminum Tape to stop the leak.You will be able to turn Smooth to the top with the best sense of release.
