Code 62 is a memory training code mate. Could you list your system specs and maybe we can see the problem. Which Trident X are you using I hve those DIMMS myself and they work flawlessly but each CPU IMC is slightly different.
in bios I have everything set to default just changed my profile to xpm1 memory. This is the default setting ram at 2400 MHz ttimings 10 12 12 31
Windows 7 64 bit with Service Pack 1 and all other available updates until today.
I also tried Kingston 4 gigabytes of RAM DDR3 1600MHz CL9 Kit HyperX and the same problem. I also changed the traditional HDD WD 2.5 and I made a new clean install and after installing AI Suite again the same problem. Do you think I should claim the CPU?
What other system specifications I should write.
I’ve forgot to write that this freeze occurs only when the system restart pc from windows if I turn on the Start button on the board or after freezing pressing the reset button on the board and it booted into windows normally.
That Q code is in memory training mate. Have you got MRC fast boot enabled?? I would disable this.
GSKILL also recommends 1.25 VCCIO for those dimms set this also and see how you go.
Finally make sure XMP is setting Vdimm to 1.65v.

I set MRC fast boot disable and VCCIO on 1.25
Vdimm to 1.65V was set in XPM profile.
Settings did not work and it’s still the same problem. If you restart with windows across the start / restart the PC.
boot stops at the screen that is shown.

keyboard does not respond to anything.
I must press the reset button on the motherboard or PC case and then will boot fine and moves to the windows.

One of the memory training codes is actually b2 not «62». 6 will be drawn with a horizontal line across the top of the hex display while b looks like b. When the board stops, leave it for up to 2 mins before you press reset you will likely find it will carry on. What USB devices do you have plugged into the board?
I had this problem and the reply from Asus support was that it was the keyboard I had bought. I didnt have the problem until I bought it, so it was easy to narrow down to what was causing it. As it was I updated the bios on bothe the keyboard and the motherboard and the problem hasnt reoccurred.
I had to wait 10mins once for it to boot up, so leave it on go make a cup of tea or something and come back to see if it has booted. If it has then you need to either remember what piece of hardware you last added before it started doing it or start by eliminating all USB devices except keyboard and mouse. If it still does it then replace the keyboard and mouse with generic ones and try again and hopefully you will find that it works. pointing you in the direction of the offending hardware 🙂

What could be a mistake for the time being I set my bios any help. I return the board?

I waited 30 minutes and was still displaying the same image we Asus ROG logo. I had to push a button to reset the board was again boot just about any other way because it is not displayed ROG logo, and again I ran into windows normally. In addition to CPU, RAM, hard disk, keyboard and mouse I have nothing else on board involved.
problem solved 🙂
I had a keyboard and mouse in blue USB3, which are administered by the intel chip and I had a usb wifi adapter in usb3 administered by the AS MEDIA chip. I threw the keyboard and the mish media and usb wifi adapter and port to port intel and everything was working well.
Indeed, I wonder why not one in which the USB peripherals are connected?
It can be somewhere in the Asus BIOS or system via a set utilitis faster refresh rate MHz USB port for the mouse? so that there was frequent communication with the mouse board (CPU)?

frozen asus logo and shining Q-code 62 = Installation of the PCH Runtime Services
Hello
I ask for help with a problem on my motherboard Asus Maximus V Gene.
Configuration: Intel 3770K, 2 x 4 GB Trident x g-skill and intel ssd 520,120 GB
The problem is that when you restart directly from Windows 7 64 bit ultimate and PC freezes at startup and displays are still q-code 62 The keyboard does not respond to either the ctrl + alt + del.
I feel that everything sunrise until after I installed the system AI Suite 2 Until then, go reset the system normally.
I flash the latest BIOS. I also tried other ram, and even another hdd from a new clean install and then it ended the same problem.
Thank you for your advice.
