У вас цп и память забивается под сотку, когда вы пытаетесь что установить от неё? У меня да.
А вы ставили галочку «медленная установка»(не использовать более 2х гб памяти)? Я да.
Тогда какого чёрта мои восемь сожраны репаком?
А у вас после запуска диспетчера задач, вот так вдруг, по мановению руки, забитые под сотку цп и память становились в районе 40%? У меня да.
Какого хрена репак ведёт себя как тупейший майнер?
Вопрос скорее такой, не майнит ли она на чужих компах (пусть это и выглядит немного как параноидальный бред)? И происходит ли у вас подобное с её репаками?
Просто я это проверял на двух компьютерах, с разными репаками, везде такая херня, даже если это распаковка чего то весом пару гигабайт.

Да я скорее о той части закономерности, которая связана с диспетчером задач:
Запустил установку => Всё умерло => Диспетчер задач => Всё ожило.
Ну тогда это майнер, который скрывается, когда пытаешься посмотреть запущенные процессы. Но я не вижу смысла в майнере на время установки, ибо система и так нагружена распаковкой. Не проще ли врубить майнер уже после установки на 10-15% мощности и майнить годами на твоём пк, без палева.
А так делал уже qoob, за что его выгнали отовсюду.
Я такого сейчас не наблюдал. Странность была, но возможно на моей стороне: при загрузке в 5-10% на ядро у меня были фризы (20 из 32 гб памяти сожрало, я позволил).
Вообще, насколько слышал, там какой-то крутой алгоритм сжатия, вполне возможно, что ресурсоёмкий.

накачал игр, особенно старых, чтобы не забыть, типа syubs the zombie, fable 3, evil dead regeneration и пускай себе лежат
Я думаю ее бы давно выгнали отовсюду если бы там что было, нагрузка от черезмерного пережатия, многим нравится что все чуть компактнее на харде..
Ну хз, тот же Xatab порой ужимает ровно столько же, но, при этом, нагрузка гораздо меньше.
И у него же этой свистопляски с диспетчером кто тупо нет.

Вопрос то о том, что когда открываешь диспетчер, нагрузка пропадает вся, а установщик даже время не меняет оставшееся, дядь.
И про то, что «медленная загрузка», которая как бы, должна ограничивать пожирание ресурсов репаком, не работает.

Лол, последний накатанный мной её репак до падения системы и ХДД был ДМК:HDC, и там была такая же фигня во время установки. Сейчас, когда я поменял ХДД и накатил её же репак, такой фигни не было, ничего не пропадало. Похоже, проблема в твоём железе.
Королева пиратов: знакомство с FitGirl, репакером из России
Разработчикам, считает FitGirl, стоило бы тоже научиться нормальной компрессии своих игр.
Принято считать, что компьютерным пиратством вообще и репакингом в частности, как правило, занимаются мужчины. Тем не менее, в этой индустрии есть как минимум один репакер, которого можно принять за женщину: FitGirl, человек с аватаркой из «Амели».
Если вы заходили в сабреддит CrackWatch, то наверняка не раз и не два видели оповещения о выпуске репаков от FitGirl. Работы российского репакера пользуются определенной популярностью, принято считать, что они отличаются высоким уровнем качества.
Команда TorrentFreak связалась с FitGirl — для простоты будем считать репакера девушкой — и попросила рассказать о работе и «творческом пути». Вот самое интересное из ее рассказа.
Про начало пути
Первые эксперименты FitGirl со сжатием данных начались в 2012 году. Тогда она начала собирать личную коллекцию контента и пользовалась 7-Zip. На тот момент FitGirl считала его лучшим инструментом для сжатия.
Собирая коллекцию, FitGirl обнаружила, что репаки, найденные на трекерах, занимают куда меньше места, чем то, что удавалось сжать ей. Заинтересовавшись, она решила забыть про 7-Zip и начала самостоятельно экспериментировать со сжатием данных. Через некоторое время FitGirl удалось добиться удовлетворительных результатов.
Внешне мой первый репак был очень похож на те, что я делаю сейчас, но внутри он был устроен просто отвратно. Медленная загрузка, медленная установка, все такое. Но я довольно быстро поправила все недостатки и начала делать репаки чуть ли не ежедневно.
Про публикацию репаков
Первое время все репаки предназначались только для личного использования. Однако затем FitGirl заметила, что некоторые ее работы по размеру уже не больше, а меньше репаков, выложенных в открытый доступ.
FitGirl решила опубликовать несколько своих репаков на трекерах и посмотреть, что из этого будет. Она — уроженка России, поэтому решила начать с местных ресурсов. Первым был репак Geometry Wars 3: дистрибутив игры удалось сжать с 250 мегабайт до 69 мегабайт.

Про мотивацию и технический челлендж
За годы работы FitGirl сделала порядка полутора тысяч репаков и создала вокруг себя целое фанатское сообщество. Непосредственно взломами она не занимается: весь контент для сжатия берется с приватного трекера.
Затем начинается самое интересное. Задача FitGirl — максимально эффективно запаковать данные, уменьшив объем дистрибутива. Иногда это довольно просто, иногда — нет.
Как правило, создание репака — очень простое дело. Большая часть игр сейчас работает либо на Unity, либо на Unreal Engine, данные обоих движков сжимаются без особых проблем. Время, которое на это потребуется, зависит только от размера игры: это может быть и час, и целый день.
Работать с закрытыми движками гораздо интереснее. По всей видимости, сложнее и интереснее всего FitGirl дается работа с проектами Rockstar Games.
Мне нравиться работать с нестандартными или редкими движками: я больше всего люблю, когда со сжатием возникают сложности. Например, репак GTA 5 я переделывала раз пять или шесть, каждый раз улучшая либо степень сжатия, либо время установки.
В этом плане Red Read Redemption 2 — одна из самых сложных игр, что мне попадались. К сожалению, ее все еще не взломали, так что я не могу показать, что у меня вышло.
Про юридические проблемы
У FitGirl их никогда не было. Издатели и разработчики регулярно добиваются удаления с трекеров тех или иных релизов, но напрямую с FitGirl они ни разу не связывались.
Про разработчиков и конкурентов
В индустрии репакинга работает не так уж много людей — FitGirl скучает по конкуренции и связанными с ней вызовами. Но гораздо печальнее, что разработчики тоже не увлекаются сжатием своих дистрибутивов.
Наймите всего одного человека, разбирающегося в компрессии, и сделайте так, чтобы ваши игры могли обновляться обычными патчами, без полной пересборки всего дистрибутива.
Unreal Engine, например, уже поддерживает такой патчинг, но 99% разработчиков просто не используют эту функцию. Вместо этого они снова и снова пересобирают весь дистрибутив, а потом игроки в Steam вынуждены выкачивать очередной апдейт на 50 гигабайт.
Ну серьезно, у вас есть все инструменты, проявите к игрокам немного любви — все-таки они вам платят.
