The Day Before the Incident [ ]
≈18:00: Subject A is seen leaving his home, going towards the Aurora Woods. This is the last time he is seen before the incident.
The Day of the Incident [ ]
3:00: Several reports from people living near the Aurora Woods claim of hearing peculiar noises seemingly coming from the woods. The noises are described as footsteps, wet meat or flesh being moved around, and grunts of «almost inhuman» sound.
3:07: A team is sent to investigate the noises. Police communicator conversations are frequent.
The Incident [ ]
≈3:30: The final transmission from the team’s police communicators are recieved. The team reports finding a «weird-looking person» in the forest. The person reportedly gives chase to the team, as the sounds of rapid footsteps, and the same grunts heard by people near the Aurora Woods are heard through the police communicators. After about 5 minutes, the sounds of screaming and deranged laughing, before communication cuts off. No further transmissions are recieved after this.
The current whereabouts or status of the team sent to investigate the noises is unknown.
After the Incident [ ]
≈9:00: Another team is sent to search the Aurora Woods.
≈10:45: The team reports seeing a human-like entity walk by. The entity is not seen again after this report.
≈11:15: The search ends. All team members come back alive. The following things are found:
The photo seen on the team’s camera.
The Day After the Incident [ ]
The Aurora Woods are closed off, and entry to them is strictly prohibited. People who live near the Aurora Woods are advised to lock their doors and their windows. Reports are still recieved of noises coming from the woods.

Основой мема является комикс Cover Yourself in Oil (“Покройте себя маслом”). Оригинальную картинку запостили на 9Gag в феврале 2020 года. Пикча стала вирусной, а к концу года превратилась в самостоятельный мем.

27 ноября 2020 года пользователь твиттера @ebola_granola опубликовал новую версию комикса. В ней последнюю панель заменили на предсказание загадочного инцидента Heaven Stairway, который якобы должен произойти в мае 2021 года.
Со временем форс мема стал развиваться. Появилась ютуб-версия предсказания и отдельные варианты копипасты.
Классическая версия истории заключается в том, что в мае 2021 года произошло крушение нефтяного танкера (oil tanker). В результате инцидента нефть (oil в английском языке означает и “масло”, и “нефть”) покрыла людей в Нью-Йорке, и они начали подниматься в небо.
В декабре на разных площадках стали появляться новые версии “инцидентов”. Например, так называемый Aurora Woods Incident, который произойдет в августе 2021 года.
В рунете в январе 2021 года получили распространение сразу два таких мема. Это Black Mesa Incident и “Подольский инцидент”. Последний продолжает традицию абстрактных мемов и крипипаст про Подольск.
“Подольский инцидент” подразумевает историю о том, что 26 мая 2021 года в Подольске произошло загадочное событие, участники которого буквально летали в небе, как и предсказывалось в мемах.
Значение
Мемы про подольский инцидент (и другие вариации) продолжают традицию крипи-мемов, когда масса участников нагнетают атмосферу вокруг выдуманного события. Делается это ради троллинга тех, кто “не в теме” и случайно увидит мем в комментариях.
