Windows Defender is detecting a driver that’s not working properly called «Microsoft Visual Studio Location Simulator Sensor»
I’ve google around and some was missing a dll file, but I got the «SensorsSimulatorDriver.dll» in the UMDF map in System32.
I’d the same problem on my laptop before, but Windows defender fixed it for me, but now it’s seems it cannot.
The problem started when I installed Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 17. I can use both Visual Studio and the SQL applications without any problem, just getting the «driver doesn’t work properly» from Windows Defender.
So what should I do?

Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 provides a location simulator that works together with a location simulator driver that you create.
The Visual Studio simulator for Windows Store apps is a desktop application that simulates a Windows Store app. It enables a developer on a single machine to run applications and simulate common touch and rotation events.
Together with Visual Studio, the simulator provides an environment in which you can design, develop, debug, and test Windows Store apps. However, before you publish your app to the Windows Store, you should test your app on an actual device.

And After testing, I found that this driver is installed with Visual Studio 2012. So could you please help me move this case to Visual Studio Setup and Installation again?
I tested this issue on my machine, and after installing the Visual Studio 2012 Professional, I found the “SensorsSimulatorDriver.dll” locates at C:\Windows\System32\drivers\UMDF
And I found the property of this dll, you could see the following picture below, so if you want to install the Microsoft Visual Studio Location Simulator Sensor driver, I suggest you install the Visual Studio 2012:
