Grim Dawn – приключенческая игра в жанре Action/RPG, созданная в стиле типичного «диаблоида». Вас ждут приключения в мире, похожем на Викторианскую Эпоху, сражения с монстрами, море путешествий и многое другое…

Игра копирует геймплей «Titan Quest», созданной на основе того же движка. Есть и деление на классы, и возможность выбрать через некоторое время вторую специализацию, и лут, в который можно вставлять разные усилители, и магия, и многое другое. При этом сюжет в этой игре вращается не вокруг мифологии, а вокруг порталов в потусторонний, мир, из которых в реальность вышли страшные монстры, инопланетяне.

Теперь мир окутан тьмой, вокруг расставлены инопланетные эфирные обелиски, преобразовывающие людской род и земли в инопланетную субстанцию, пригодную для жизни инопланетян. The OP thought he would receive all the stuff from the Grim Dawn website offer by buying it from steam. Even though the steam offer states very clearly what it includes. Now the OP is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about being «ripped-off» for not receiving the 60 dollars worth of stuff for less than 10 bucks.

Well, 2 things.. It is true that the contents are specifically shown when opening info on DLC icon, but on the other hand, could it not be more handy to call such upgrades by their true nature, like «Steam Loyalist DLC» instead of «Loyalist Edition», which implies more of the contents present in the Steam version.

Ikr, it’s kinda childish, but it IS the proper way of advertising, even when a fully aware person KNOWS you cannot get 60 dollar content for 9 dollars, which would be like 85% off (indeed a bit ridiculous to begin with and not to mention unfair to the ones buying the real deal online on the webpage) on release, except when it is thoroughly stated with the discount percentage.

This is the world of now, where (some) people don’t know how to read the more difficult and longer texts coming with a subscription or purchase, AKA «Terms of Use» or «specifications on content». Reading them can be tedious and specially when not FULLY agree with them will result in a cut off of installing the software/product (cntrl+F in a text editor can help you find specific passages), but it can save you ENORMOUS trouble when read them before using anything or signing for a user agreement or any subscription. Try it 😀

To be very short on this paragraph: consumers/users: R(ead) T(he) F(abulous) M(anual) and devs/marketeers: just be very specific on your product’s advertisements.
