Внешний вид

Корпус прибора изготовлен из пластика. Габаритные размеры корпуса устройства, измеренные рулеткой:

На передней панели устройства расположен монохромный жидкокристаллический дисплей. Под дисплеем находится красный светодиод с надписью «Electromagnetic Radiation Tester». Светодиод срабатывает при превышении допустимого уровня электрического или магнитного поля.

Ниже экрана расположены три кнопки:

При кратковременном нажатии кнопки «HOLD/BEEP» на дисплее фиксируются текущие показания тестера. При длительном нажатии кнопки «HOLD/BEEP» можно как включить, так и выключить звуковую сигнализацию превышения допустимого уровня ЭМП.

Кнопка «AVG/VPP» осуществляет переключение тестера в режим отображения средних или максимальных значений.

При кратковременном нажатии на кнопку включения/отключения тестера – загорается подсветка дисплея. При длительном нажатии данной кнопки можно включить либо выключить прибор.

Тестирование

Перед началом тестирования, вспомним предельно допустимые нормы электромагнитного излучения, рекомендованные Всемирной организацией здравоохранения:

Установив батарейки и включив прибор, первым делом я протестировал своё рабочее место, где находится системный блок компьютера и монитор. При выключенном компьютере тестер показывал оба значения, электрического и магнитного поля, равными нулю. Включив персональный компьютер, я провел измерения. Расстояние тестера до монитора с системным блоком было около 50 см.

Тестер показал превышение допустимого уровня электрического поля в 8 раз. Показания прибора колебались в районе от 264 V/m до 281 V/m. Показания уровня излучения магнитного поля были в норме.

Затем я протестировал WI-fi роутер. Тестирование роутера на расстоянии 1 метра от прибора:

Показания уровня электрического и магнитного поля равны 0.

Тестирование роутера на расстоянии 10 см:

Тестер показал превышение допустимого уровня электрического поля со значением 190 V/m. Показания уровня излучения магнитного поля были в норме. Также следует учесть, что вблизи роутера был подключен его блок питания на 12 V 1 A.

Тестирование микроволновой печи. Данное устройство отличается повышенной мощностью в сравнении с другими бытовыми электроприборами. Микроволновка была включена в сеть, замер излучения ЭМП был произведен на расстоянии 1 метра от печки.

Замер излучения ЭМП вблизи печки:

Затем микроволновка была включена на максимальную мощность 850 W. Результат тестирования:

Прибор показал значительно превышение электрического поля, с результатами от 516 V/m до 522 V/m, а также превышение магнитного поля с результатами от 21.27 µT до 22.29 µT.

На расстоянии 1 метра от включенной микроволновой печи на максимальной мощности 850 W, прибор показал такой результат:

Тестирование мобильных телефонов. Для тестирования устройств мобильной связи были выбраны 2 устройства:

Проведем тест Nokia 1200 и Apple Iphone 6S в режиме «ожидания»:

На обоих телефонах значения электрического и магнитного поля равны 0. На Iphone был включен Wi-fi, а также мобильный интернет.

Затем были проведены замеры на телефонах при входящем вызове.

На современном смартфоне при входящем вызове превышения допустимого значения ЭМП замечено не было. Телефон «старого» поколения, напротив, показал превышение допустимого значения магнитного поля в диапазоне от 2.90 µT до 12.47 µT.

После проведенных тестов дома я отправился на улицу. Первым объектом для тестирования была выбрана трансформаторная подстанция на 10 кВ.

На расстоянии около 2-3 метров был произведен замер ЭМП.

Такое расстояние полностью безопасно для человека, показания тестера были равны 0.

Подойдя вплотную ко входу в трансформаторную подстанцию был произведён еще один замер.

Прибор показал превышение уровня магнитного поля со значением 5.53 µT.

Вблизи дома, где я живу (около 100-150 метров), находится вышка сотовой связи.

Естественно, были произведены замеры на превышение уровня ЭМП вблизи вышки.

Вышка сотовой связи оказалась полностью безопасной для человека, показания тестера были равны 0.

Затем был произведен тест возле столба линий электропередач.

Показания электрического и магнитного поля были равны 0.

Завершить мою прогулку решил замером ЭМП возле высоковольтной опоры линий электропередач.

Включив прибор, было выявлено незначительное превышение уровня электрического поля на расстоянии приблизительно 20 метров. Подходить ближе и делать замеры на близком расстоянии я не стал, так как опоры стоят на удаленном расстоянии от жилых домов и постоянного потока людей там нет.

Отойдя на расстояние более 40-50 метров показания электрического и магнитного поля были равны 0.

Выводы

С развитием современных технологий в нашей жизни становится все больше электрических устройств. Исследования на тему влияния электромагнитных излучений на тело человека продолжаются по сей день. Учеными доказано, что кратковременное воздействие ЭМП допустимого уровня не оказывает пагубного воздействия на человека. Однако, при воздействии ЭМП выше допустимых норм, существует вероятность получить негативные последствия для своего организма, как в краткосрочной, так и в долгосрочной перспективе.

Проведя тесты на излучение ЭМП компьютера, микроволновой печи, мобильных телефонов, подстанций и вышек сотовой связи можно сделать вывод, что при соблюдении рекомендаций ВОЗ, влияние ЭМП на организм человека, можно свести к минимуму. Как пример, можно взять микроволновую печь. Микроволновая печь является одним из самых мощных источников ЭМП в доме. Однако, она становится практически полностью безопасной, на расстоянии одного метра.

Use the magnetic field sensor on your phone to take EMF readings. Works like a 3 axis EMF meter. Displays EMF in milli Gauss (mG) or micro Tesla (uT). This data can be displayed on a customizable graph with optional auto ranging capability. Uses include ghost hunting, paranormal research, finding sources of EMF radiation, monitoring EMF levels, and/or curiosity.

Instructions for use:
Preferences can be found by pressing the menu button. Many display options are available to customize what is on the screen.
The range on the meter can be changed in the options or by sliding your finger up or down on the screen. The left side of the screen adjusts the minimum, the right side adjusts the maximum. You can lock or unlock touch adjustments through the menu.
Auto Range Mode can be selected to affect the graph range, the graph and the UI range, or neither. It is suggested to select «Graph and Interface» to have fully automated range control.
Baseline Mode lets you set a baseline value that will be subtracted from the reading.
Custom color values can be set for the text and graph line. Sound can be enabled and customized in preferences, default is off. This will play a tone at a rate determined by the EMF reading, similar to a Geiger counter.

“It’s a very nice unit with seemingly accurate readings provided you remember to use the right side to measure voltages. The alarm threshold is a bit high IMHO but low enough to beep before risking potentially harmful levels of exposure. What I like about the interface is that it shows all the data at the same time and the preferences offer a lot of unit choices and other useful options. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the firmware can be updated, I wish I had the ability to adjust the alarm threshold, display the history graph for Volts and Teslas, and measure peak values. It’s nice that it can be powered by rechargeable AAA batteries as they’re cheaper and more practical than the 9v ones. Using USB from a computer or adapter to power the device tends to introduce a lot of emf noise. Even with a cable with ferrite element. I got over 2000V/m2 from the ups, 800 from the laptop and 220 from a Samsung Galaxy Tab charger. One sorely missing feature is not being able to use the USB connection for data; it ‘d be good to be able to log the data and to update the firmware. “How often do you buy a product that changes what you do?

I became aware of EMF problems because of a friend who has power lines just outside her condo. After considerable research, I bought the TriField meter as the best product for the money. BTW I found that it’s slightly cheaper plus free shipping if you make an offer on eBay to buy it. This product is great! Clear directions, and measures all the stuff that’s important.

Here’s what I’m now doing differently:
1. I rearranged our TVs, so the older high-radiation sets are in rooms we don’t use very often.
2. I sit on the other side of the dining table when the living room TV is on (it radiates like fury in all directions, out to 6 feet distance).
3. I try to stay 6 feet away from the microwave oven when it’s on (you would be amazed at the field strength it produces).
4. Whenever possible, I set my cell phone (iPhone) a foot away instead of in my pocket next to my body – every time it “checks in” with the nearest cell tower, there’s a spike in RF radiation nearby.
5. I am aware that wherever there’s a running motor, there will be fields in the immediate vicinity – up to a foot away. So don’t lean against a running dishwasher, for example.
