Limpet Controller/Research
Controls a limpet that scrapes samples and bio-matter from the surface of an alien vessel.
The Research Limpet Controller is a Limpet Controller used to extract tissue samples from Thargoid Interceptors, Thargoid Scouts, and alien organic entities found at Notable Stellar Phenomena. Using Research Limpets will often provoke a hostile response from Thargoid vessels.

Usage
Successfully extracting material from a target with a Research Limpet requires maintaining a constant distance of 2,000 meters or less with the target after the limpet has been deployed until the extraction process completes. Exceeding this distance will cause the limpet to fail, and a new one must be deployed. While this is a fairly simple task with most creatures found in Notable Stellar Phenomena, the agility and hostility of Thargoid Interceptors and Thargoid Scouts can make collecting samples from them extremely difficult.

Specifications
Limpets controlled by this module can latch onto alien vessels and collect samples directly from the hull. This process takes an amount of time, during which both vessels must remain within a set distance of each other, for the process to fully complete. On completion, the limpet will return back to its controlling vessel.

Limpet Controller/Decontamination
Controls a limpet that removes caustic chemicals affecting a ship’s hull, as well as applying a small amount of hull repair.
The Decontamination Limpet Controller is a Limpet Controller used to remove the caustic, damaging substance left by Thargoid Interceptor missiles. Decontamination Limpets can also partially restore a ship’s hull, but are less effective than Repair Limpets.

Usage
Decontamination Limpets are a highly situational module, as caustic damage is mainly only a threat during anti-Thargoid combat, and can alternatively be removed by overheating the ship, though this latter process has obvious risks. Pilots tackling Thargoids in Wings will find it useful to have a support ship with Decontamination Limpets on hand, however, and the module’s added hull repair effect means it is not strictly necessary to carry Repair Limpets at the same time.

Specifications
Limpets controlled by this module are a variant of the standard Hull Repair Limpet. Capable of not only cleaning off hull-corrosive (caustic) chemicals from a ship’s outer hull, but also adminstering a limited amount of repair in the process. This task takes an amount of time, during which both vessels must remain within a set distance of each other. Any external damage to the affected vessel will cancel the process immediately.

Всего в игре насчитывается 25 инженеров, из них:
— 20 инженеров в пузыре (первое обитаемое пространство)
— 4 инженера (Etienne Dorn, Mel Brandon, Marsha Hicks, Petra Olmanova) находятся в колонии (второе обитаемое пространство в 22к+ световых лет от пузыря)
— 1 инженер (Chloe Sedesi) вне пузыря и колонии (на скрине указана система, где она находится, станция же указана в древе далее)
Между тем, в игре, в вкладке инженеров, система указана под другим названием (Witch Head Sector DL-Y d17), но всё-равно при наведении укажет на систему «Shenve«

В данном разделе будут описаны все условия (по 3 на каждого) для открытия инженеров (если они у вас известны, но не открыты, переходите сразу к разделу 3).
Открытие каждого инженера проходит после 3,5 гайки предыдущего, но лучше и логичнее прокачивать всем инженерам сразу 5 гаек репутации

Если вы начинающий игрок, советую вам хотя бы сразу купить купить ДБЕ (Diamondback Explorer) и открыть у Фелисити Фарсир (Felicity Farseer) ФСД на дальность прыжка, чтобы отлететь на 5 000 св. л. в любую сторону. И если у вас уже есть знакомые или друзья в игре, которые уже немного освоились, попросите их помочь с копкой чего-либо, чтобы вам пополнить капитал на более лучшие корабли и оснащение. Таким образом, вам легче будет открывать остальных инженеров.

Что где добыть или купить, вы найдёте в пункте 3. И если вы играете с друзьями, и у одного из них уже есть флииткериер, то попросите его освободить вам место под все ресурсы, требуемые инженерами. Так вы сможете заранее подготовиться к открытию каждого, даже если вам приглашения от них ещё не пришли.
При поиске данного инженера, родная система указывается под названием «Алиот», на самом же деле, она должна указываться как «Alioth»
Как вы видите, на карте галактики, в системе «ВРОДЕ БЫ ПУСТО», но на самом деле, открыв данную систему, на планете Alioth 4a вы найдётся стоянку инженера.
Задача:
1) Вы узнали о Билле Тёрнере от Селин Джин;
2) Вы можете воспользоваться услугами Билла Тёрнера, поскольку состоите в дружеских отношениях с Альянсом независимых систем;
3) Вы выполнили первоначальный контракт, предоставив 50 единиц Бромеллита.
Выполнение:
1) Прокачать Селин до 3,5 гайки;
2) Прокачать репутацию державы Альянса любыми заданиями;
Можно перевозкой пассажиров, можно выполнением любых других заданий.
3) Накопать в ледяных кольцах 50т бромеллита. Это можно делать как и в спотах (оранжевые пятна в кольцах, после скана, а можно и просто плюхаясь в любое ледяное кольцо планеты).
Что предоставляет данный инженер:
Выполнение:
1) Прокачать Тани до 3,5 гайки;
2) Убивать нпс в зонах конфликта и в кольцах планет, убивать скаутов (маленькие корабли таргоидов) или реальных игроков (если вы играете в опене);
(Где найти скаутов? Обычные они обидают в зоне плеяд в местах нечеловеческих сигналов 4 уровня)
3) Купить на станции чай и отдать инженеру ( Где купить, указано в 3 пункте ).
Что предоставляет данный инженер:
Задача:
1) Вы узнали о Хлое Седеси от Марко Куэнта;
2) Вы можете воспользоваться услугами Хлои Седеси, поскольку удалились от места, где началась ваша карьера, на 5000 световых лет или больше;
3) Вы выполнили первоначальный контракт, предоставив 25 фрагментов сенсоров.
Выполнение:
1) Прокачать у Марко Куэнта 3,5 гайки репутации;
2) Отлететь от систем, где вы начали игру, на 5 000 световых лет (5к св.л.), совершенно в любом направлении;
3) 25 фрагментов сенсора можно достать в системе HIP 17862 на планете 6ca у разбившегося корабля таргоидов. Координаты: 30.3511/-98.5751.
При подлёте к планете в первый раз, обязательно просканируйте её и при прилёте на планету увидите «разбившийся таргоидский корабль», туда нам и надо

Задача:
1) Вы узнали о полковнике Брисе Деккере от Юрия Ишмаака;
2) Вы можете воспользоваться услугами полковника Бриса Деккера, поскольку состоите в дружественных отношениях с Федерацией;
3) Вы выполнили первоначальный контракт, предоставив боевые контракты на сумму в 1 000 000 кредитов.
Выполнение:
1) Прокачать Ишмаака до 3,5 гайки;
2) Прокачать репутацию ранга державы Федерации до дружеских отношений, чтобы открыть систему Sol (а ещё лучше просто фулл ранг взять и не париться);
3) Для выполнения данной части, нужно прилететь в ЗК (Зону Конфликта), встать на 1 из сторон и убивать нпс пока не наберёте 1кк кредитов, после сдадите нафармленное инженеру.
Что предоставляет данный инженер:
Задача:
1) Вы узнали о полковнике Диди Ватерманн от Селин Джин
2) Вы можете воспользоваться услугами полковника Диди Ватерманн, поскольку получили в Федерации пилотов торговый ранг «Коммерсант» или выше.
3) Вы выполнили первоначальный контракт, предоставив Диди Ватерманн 50 единиц Лавианского бренди.
Выполнение:
1) Прокачать Селин до 3,5 гайки;
2) Продавать что-либо (на данный момент актуально копать и продавать пейнит с опалами бездны), пока не получите хотя бы коммерсанта;
3) Бренди можно купить на станции. Но за раз врятли у вас появятся все 50т бренди, скорее всего надо будет сделать парочку заходов. (На какой станции покупать, указано в пункте 3)
Что предоставляет данный инженер:
Задача:
1) Вы узнали о полковнике Эльвире Мартуук Благодаря тому, что сведения о ней являются общедоступными
2) Вы можете воспользоваться услугами Эльвиры Мартуук, поскольку удалились от места, где началась ваша карьера, на 300 световых лет или больше
3) Вы выполнили первоначальный контракт, предоставив 3 единицы реликтов Сунтилла
Выполнение:
1) Мартуук появляется по сути одна из самых первых;
2) Отлететь от начального места игры на 300 св.л. (советую вам отлететь сразу на 5200 св.л., и такое условие засчитается автоматически для других (даже не открытых) инженеров);
3) Реликты Сунтилла можно купить на станции.
Что предоставляет данный инженер:
Задача:
1) Вы узнали о полковнике Этьене Дорне от Лиз Райдер
2) Ваш торговый ранг агента позволил получить доступ к Этьену Дорну
3) Вы выполнили первоначальный контракт, доставив 25 спасательных капсул с пассажирами
Выполнение:
1) Прокачать Лиз Райдер до 3 гайки для получения информации об Этьене;
2) Наторговать на станциях на сумму 1 000 000 кредитов (желательно). Легче всего это сделать на данный момент копая и продавая пейнит (или же опалы бездны, копка алмазов не актуальна) подороже.
3) Насобирать 25 спасательных (именно только целых, поломанные не сойдут) капсул. Это можно (да и крайне желательно делать в секторе Колонии в системе «Luchtaine» )
Limpet Controller/Prospector
Limpets controlled by this module can be fired at the surface of a mineable [sic] asteroids to discover the composition of it, aiding in efficient mining. Once deployed the information about composition can [sic] be obtained via targeting the limpet and consulting the cockpit interface.
Prospector Drones are used to scan asteroids for their composition. The composition of the asteroid and amount of resources remaining can be seen by targeting the drone attached to an asteroid. There can be between two or three different materials within one asteroid.

Overview
Prospector drones will increase the quantity of fragments that can be obtained from an asteroid, with the magnitude of this effect dependent on their letter rating (notably not class); with A-rating being the strongest, as expected. An A-rated Prospector Controller of any number class (1, 3, 5, 7) has the same increase to fragment yield. This effect is not applied retroactively. For example: if an asteroid can produce 10 fragments normally and it is prospected from the start, it will now yield 20 fragments. If that same asteroid was mined for 5 fragments before using a prospector, the remaining 5 possible fragments will be doubled to yield 10 fragments for a total yield of 15 fragments. In general, a prospected asteroid will yield anywhere from 20 to 40+ fragments, a considerable difference from the yield without a drone.
A resultant technique involves chipping off a single fragment from an asteroid to determine its composition without using a prospector drone and then mining the rest of the asteroid with a prospector drone attached. This allows you to save limpet drones for only the asteroids you want to mine while only losing one fragment per asteroid. Bear in mind that a fragment can only contain a maximum of two resources while asteroids can contain up to three, so the first fragment may not tell you all of the resources the asteroid contains.
In the new Analysis Mode, if a Commander fires a Prospecting Limpet at an asteroid, you will be able to see the highlighted location of all the deposits on it, making it easy for you to target and exploit those specific areas. [1]

Multi-Limpet Controller

The Multi-Limpet Controller is an enhanced type of Limpet Controller that can program and control multiple limpet tasks. This multifunctional version of the Limpet Controller trades efficiency for that greater flexibility, however, and compared to its specialised counterparts it has more limitations. Four of the five Multi-Limpet Controller models are available only in a size of Class 3, and the fifth, the Universal model, is available only in Class 7. In addition, all Multi-Limpet Controllers have more mass than a specialised Limpet Controller of the same size, and only one Multi-Limpet Controller can be installed on a ship at a time. [1]

Types
Operative
The Operative Multi-Limpet Controller can perform the Collector, Hatch Breaker, and Recon functions, and is designed for piracy. It is only available in Class 3.
Mining
The Mining Multi-Limpet Controller can perform the Collector and Prospector functions, and is designed for mining. It is only available in Class 3.
Rescue
The Rescue Multi-Limpet Controller can perform the Fuel Transferer, Hatch Breaker, and Repair functions, and is designed for search and rescue. It is only available in Class 3.
The Xeno Multi-Limpet Controller can perform the Decontamination and Research functions, and is designed for anti-Thargoid combat. It is only available in Class 3.
Universal
The Universal Multi-Limpet Controller can perform all eight Limpet Controller functions at once. The module is only available in Class 7, meaning it can only be accommodated by six ship models: Anaconda, Federal Corvette, Imperial Clipper, Imperial Cutter, Type-9 Heavy, and Type-10 Defender.
