Atlanta, Georgia native Daniel Mickelson was born on October 4, 1997.
The rising star is best known for his role in TV series Mani in 2019. He also starred in the indie horror film The Killer Clown Meets the Candy Man.
Daniel aspired to be a designer and had already announced the launch of his own clothing line.
He is the brother of model and Instagram star Meredith Mickelson, who was the first to announce Michelson’s death in an Instagram post.
«My heart is shattered & to write this feels so wrong and i don’t even know what to say,» Meredith wrote. «Yesterday I lost my brother, best friend & the other half of my heart.»
She described her brother as «the happiest brightest smiley most sunshine human to exist.»
Meredith’s rep spoke on his death saying: «The Mickelson family is devastated by the tragic loss of their beloved Daniel.

His untimely passing was announced by his younger sister, Meredith Mickelson, on Monday night in an Instagram post, where she wrote her heart is «shattered».
A cause of death for the Atlanta-born star is yet to be revealed.
Celebrity pals including Paris Hilton, Kaia Gerber, and Patrick Schwarzenegger paid tribute to their late friend and all the «laughter and happiness» he brought to the world.
Supermodel Kaia led the poignant posts with a screenshot of a FaceTime call with Daniel with a touching caption.
She wrote: «I remember that time we sat on the couch and spent the whole day coming up with our own secret language that we continued to speak every time we saw each other.
«I wish we could go back there. I wish we were still talking in sentences that probably annoyed everyone else but made us crack up every time.
«I wish I was still sitting on my bathroom floor because that was the only place I had wifi and I never wanted to miss a call from you,» Kaia continued.
«Thank you for being the reason for so much laughter and happiness in the world. It won’t be the same without you here. I love you Daniel.»

Actor Daniel Mickelson has died at the age of 23, it has been confirmed.
The rising star, who was best known for starring in the series Mani, died on Sunday as the US marked the Fourth of July.
Daniel’s younger sister, Meredith Mickelson, announced the news on Monday night in an Instagram post.
Alongside a sweet photo of her with Daniel posing together on a beach as children, Meredith wrote: ‘My heart is shattered & to write this feels so wrong and i don’t even know what to say. Yesterday i lost my brother, best friend & the other half of my heart.
‘There wasn’t a person i loved more on this earth. theres no words that can do him justice that i could write. to know him was to love him. he was the happiest brightest smiley most sunshine human to exist and I’m so happy God chose me to be his sister for his whole amazing life.’
