Отдельная полоса движения Car Pool или особенности дорожной разметки в США
На американских трассах есть специальная полоса, которую не увидишь на дорогах постсоветских стран. Хотя такая разметка является довольно удобной для водителей.
Отдельная полоса отделена желтой сплошной линией и находится в левой части трассы. Называется такая полоса Car Pool (Карпул). Данная полоса предназначена для автомобилей с пассажирами.
Использование полосы Карпул должно снизить количество пробок на дорогах. Водитель едет, к примеру, на работу не один, а подвозит еще несколько своих сотрудников.
Пассажиры не пользуются своим личным транспортом и тем самым снижают загрузку трасс.
От того, что американцы ездят на автомобилях вместе, а не поодиночке, дороги становятся свободнее, водители сокращают расходы на бензин, ремонт и парковку, а также снижается уровень выбросов вредных газов в атмосферу.
Особенно отчетливо вся прелесть карпула видна в пробке: все машины стоят, а автомобили на отдельной полосе спокойно продолжают движение.
Также по отдельной полосе разрешено ездить на электромобилях. Отдельная полоса – своеобразный стимул для американцев переходить на экологически безопасный транспорт. Также эта полоса открыта для мотоциклов, даже без пассажира.
Никто из автомобилистов, которые не имеют право ездить по Car Pool. Даже не пытаются нарушить это правило.
Дело в том, что американцы – народ законопослушный, кроме того, на автомобильных дорогах всегда установлены камеры, нарушить правила дорожного движения и остаться безнаказанным практически невозможно. Минимальное нарушение за проезд по карпулу, если вы едете один, составляет около 250 — 360 долларов.
На территории постсоветских стран вряд ли в ближайшее время введут такую отдельную полосу, прежде всего, потому что водители будут нарушать правила. Отследить же такие нарушения не так-то просто.
Car pool only что означает
В Штатах осознают проблему пробок в час пик и стараются всячески с ней бороться. Одно из средств такой борьбы — поощрение использования HOV (high occupancy vehicles) или машин с высокими оккупантами с одним или несколькими пассажирами. Такое поощрение заключается в том, что на многополосных шоссе выделяют отдельную полосу, куда можно въезжать, если в машине есть еще кто-то кроме водителя. Наличие любого пассажира, будь то друг, жена или ребенок позволяет использовать эту спец-полосу. В результате убиваются два пассажира зайца: появляется шанс, что на дороге окажется одна машина вместо двух, а у тех, кто едет в такой машине появляется шанс проехать по более быстро движущейся полосе. HOV еще иногда называют карпул-ом (carpool) и даже реально бывают случаи, когда люди, работающие вместе и живущие неподалеку друг от друга «карпулят», приезжая на работу в одной машине.
Полосы HOV бывают разные. В простейшем случае, как уже написано выше, это просто полоса для машины с хотя бы одним пассажиром. Иногда это ограничение повышается до 2-х пассажиров (т.е. в машине должно быть не менее трех человек, считая водителя). В Калифорнии есть платные HOV полосы — если ты едешь без пассажира, то платишь за проезд по выделенной полосе, а если с пассажиром, то проезд бесплатный (при этом остальные полосы бесплатны для всех, но в них можно простоять час там, где по карпулу проезжаешь за несколько минут).
А что будет, если на такую полосу заехать на машине без пассажира? Если не поймают, то ничего. Если поймают, то в Калифорнии грозит штраф примерно в 500 долларов.
Какое это имеет отношение к мотоциклам? Самое прямое. Хотя HOV полоса предназначена для машин с пассажиром, в большинстве штатов есть список тех, кому так же разрешено пользоваться этой полосой. Обычно в этот список входят разные электромобили и гибриды (Да, да толстосумы на Теслах могут ездить по карпулу в одиночку. Впрочем, более бюджетные Приусы и Шевроле-Вольты тоже могут въезжать на карпульные полосы). И, в добавок к электромобилям, в этой полосе разрешено ездить (фанфары!) мотоциклам! Не важно, едешь ли ты на Хонда Ребел 250 или на двухлитровой Виктори, полоса карпула всегда готова предоставить тебе свою широкую и просторную спину 🙂 Ну, а в случае, если карпул тоже забит стоящими бампер к бамперу машинами, всегда можно съехать в междурядье и продолжить движение с той скоростью, которая комфортна.
Насколько я могу судить по текстам на БайкПост-е, пробки давно стали насущной проблемой в странах ехСССР и особенно в больших мегаполисах — Москва, Киев, Питер… Появились ли где-нибудь уже такие выделенные полосы, поощряющие совместное использование автомобилей? Считаете ли вы это полезной практикой или на ваш взляд это бесполезная затея просто усложнающая жизнь и отбирающая полосу у остальных водителей?
