Dumbster diving is a skill you need to learn.
At the same time, you’ll be learning to Rust.
Walk down an alley of your choice, find a dumpster and dive in.
Next look for those aluminumnum things called pop/soda cans.
(this is where your Rust training begins, its exactly like searching for scrap, in fact, it is)

15 июн. 2015 в 2:00 So I’m sure I’m just missing something really obvious but I can’t seem to build any sort of shelter. In my crafting section there aren’t a building components for me to choose from i.e pillars, wood planks, etc. I can build a blueprint foundation and tool cupboard but that’s it. All the beginners guides I’ve read just say ‘start by building a simple wooden shelter’ but don’t explain how to do that. When I place a blueprint on the ground it’s just a floor on stilts with no other options to expand. You probably dont have materials (wood) to craft building part.

Sometimes it wont allow u to place it, move around or jump (sometimes help).If u are in restricted area like rad towns, monuments, roads or hills u wont be able to build. 12 янв. 2017 в 7:25

Игре не хватило оперативной памяти. Для нормальной игры нужно, как рекомендуют разработчики 64-разрядную Windows и не менее 4-6 гб ОЗУ. Также возможны вылеты на рабочий стол без каких либо ошибкок ( возможно из-за нехватки оперативной памяти)

При подключении к серверу ошибка EAC: unconnected.

Запускайте игру через RustClient.exe, если не помогло, то переустановите EAC.

Эта ошибка происходит, если EAC уже запущен. Откройте диспетчер задач и закройте процессы игры, а также EasyAntiCheat.exe. Перезагрузитесь.

По какой-то причине не удалось получить ip

Проследите, чтобы игру не блокировал ваш антивирус и firewall windows, а также возможно вы подписаны на бета программы. Для того что бы решить эту проблему нужно просто от них отписаться, сделать это можно по следующему алгоритму:
Выйти из игры.
Зайти в библиотеку Steam.
Находим ярлык игры Rust, щелкаем по нему ПКМ и выбираем Свойства.
Находим вкладку «Бета» (BETAS) в окне.
И в ней выбираем: «NONE — Opt out of all beta programs».

Ошибка steam Auth:K_EAuthSessionResponseVACCheckTimedOut

Вылет происходит из-за слабых видеокарт, которые не могут обработать данные. Попробуйте обновить драйвер до последней версии, если не поможет, то игру вы не запустите.

Бывает такое, что при загрузке на сервер мы получаем такую надпись You are already connected

Просто ждать, если перевести данные слова, то в них сказано будто вы уже присоединились и находитесь на этом сервере. Пройдет со временем. Можно также попробовать очистить кэш игры.

]На ноутбуках может быть то, что игра по умолчанию будет использовать интегрированную видеокарту и нужно переключиться на дискетную.
Для этого запускаем панель управления nvidia > управления параметрами 3D > выбираем вкладку программные настройки и в списке ищем Rust, после во втором пункте предпочтение выбираем высокопроизводительный процессор Nvidia.

Данная ошибка может возникать из-за несовместимости с системой, а именно windows xp, vista, а также на некоторых mac os. На них игра не запустится, так как отсутствуют некоторые библиотеки.

EasyAntyCheat disconnect и ничего не помогает, все программное по установлено

Служба не может быть запущена, поскольку она либо отключена либо он не имеет связанного с ней устройства
Написать в командной строке (cmd) sc delete easyanticheat

Это не ошибка, а простое уведомление о том, что подключение не удалось. Почему оно не удалось неизвестно. Но может быть причина в интернет соединении
Если вы пользуетесь модемом, то пробуйте его перезагрузить. Иногда может возникать из-за потери пакетов игры.

Отключить и если не поможет, то удалить антивирус и переустановить Eac

Античиту игры мешает программа КриптоПро, ее удаление поможет решить проблему. Также все подобные ошибки 19, 20, 21 и тд. с такой надписью, ошибка античита. Переустановить античит, при этом удалив антивирус и прочие программы, которые могут блокировать файлы

Данная проблема может появиться при блокировке файлов античит системы EAC, антивирусом или брандмауэром windows, а также другими защитными средствами. Даже в выключенном состоянии антивирус способен блокировать неугодные ему файлы.

Rust сильно тормозит. Можно повысить FPS?

При подключении к серверу загрузка останавливается на пункте «Waiting for character». В чем проблема?

Вам нужно все графические настройки выставить на минимум. При запуске игры появляется стандартное окошко, в котором вам нужно выбрать уровень настроек «Fastest» (Быстрый).
Затем в самой игре нужно зайти в меню настроек. Убедитесь, что по всем пунктам выставлены минимальные значения. После этих действий попробуйте еще раз подключиться к серверу.

После переподключения к серверу, мой персонаж появляется в случайном месте, как после смерти. Персонаж спит, а рядом спальный мешок. Почему сервер не сохраняет позицию?

So, I am having issues with building my base. This has been happening multiple times over the past few days. It doesn’t allow me to build above a certain point, telling me I cannot build.

As soon as I try placing it above. it just doesn’t work.

Those overhangs are preventing you putting in the door frames.

It’s a change that was made ages ago to prevent the double walling, this happens when you have building parts too close to another building part that is not the ‘correct fit’, if the square overhang behind the door had been triangles you would have been able to put the door frame, if you have a friendly admin who could remove 1 just to test, you will be able to put the door frame in, although any decent admin shouldn’t help with building mistakes.

Its not all about the outside, I cannot build above a certain point, this is an issue.

The biggest confusion to the Rust achievements revolve around the early achievements that don’t seem to trigger. The reason I found for is actually just based on the settings of the server. The achievements were setup as a a tutorial system and then enhanced for other tasks.

These are the achievements that are directly tied to the tutorial. If you join a server and you don’t have these very basic tasks completed, then you can determine if the achievements will work if you see a tutorial at the top left when you join the server.

If you’re hosting your own server, you can enable this by setting the server.official flag to true.

Collect Wood

Wood can be harvested by hitting trees with a harvesting tool such as the spawn rock or various axes. Trees have a red X when you harvest which denotes critical spots to hit to increase efficiency.

Cloth can be harvested from dead animals or picking up hemp plants that spawn in the world.

There are currently two types of cans in the game: cans of beans and cans of tuna. Both are easily found at the abandon supermarket. You’ll want to recycle those empty cans at a recycler which is also available at various monuments including the supermarket.

This achievement is known to be buggy on unlock, so don’t mind if it doesn’t unlock immediately.

I won’t include any specific scrap guide as the game is updated and balanced, those numbers will change. In any case, scrap can be obtained in two ways. You can always find them when looting the blue plastic trays with car components in them. Otherwise, you can recycle metal based products to get some good yields of scraps.

Kill an Animal

Find some wildlife and simply kill it. There are chickens, deer, wolves, and bears.

Skin an Animal

After killing the wildlife mentioned above, its corpse will remain. Hit it with any harvest tool until its condition is depleted. Knives are the most efficient.

Giddy Up!
Ride a horse for 1km

With the tech tree update, horses now spawn more commonly. Find one and ride it for a 1km. Alternatively, you can purchase a saddle at a ranch or barn and claim a horse and ride it then.

Glutton
Completely fill your food bar

Near rivers, you can often find a plethora of pumpkins and corn. This will easily fill up your food gauge.

Sealbreaker
Completely fill your hydration bar

Navigate to a river or lake and interact with the water and drink until you’ve filled the water gauge.

Research an Item

You’ll need an item you can’t craft, scraps, and a research table. A research table is craftable and has achievements for both crafting it and placing it. Easy items you can research include a lot of electrical switches and nodes which cost just 20 scraps.

Research tables also spawn in large monuments such as the Outpost, Airfield, Power Plant, etc.

You’ll find scientists randomly wandering around roads, but you can easily find them in specific monuments. The excavator and military tunnel are the two easiest accessible areas where you can farm scientists. Others include the oil rig monuments, but require a boat to get to.

Cargo Ship is special monument in the fact that it’s not always available. Time to time, you’ll see a large boat circling the island. You’ll want to have a boat ready or scrap ready to buy a boat so you can drive up the cargo ship when it arrives.

The ship never stops, and you can access it by a ladder on the side of the ship. After that, you’ll want to get to the top of the ship to the bridge.

On The Deck
Land a minicopter on an oil rig Helipad

A minicopter can be purchased from the Bandit Camp for 750 scraps. Then there are two oil rigs, small oil rig and large oil rig. Both have a helipad ontop of it. The best strategy for this is to have someone help you and clear out oil rig so you can land easily.

Note: You do not need the DLC, but you need someone with the DLC to give you the items.

First Notes

This achievement is known to not unlock immediately but you can do when you do musical maestro to force the trigger.

Musical Maestro
Play every instrument

The Acoustic Guitar is not a DLC instrument and must be found in the world. The rest can be crafted by anyone with the DLC.

Setup a team and simply have all members have instruments equipped.

Note: You do not need the DLC, but you need someone with the DLC to give you the items.

Paparazzi
Take a photo of another player

Craft the Instant Camera, equip it, and take a picture of another player. For some reason, this only counts for the first picture in the camera so you can’t use the same camera.

Sunglasses at Night
Equip a pair of sunglasses after the sun goes down

Craft some sunglasses. Twitch Sunglasses count for this. When it’s night time, that’s when you need to equip them. Does not trigger if you already have them equipped when night time comes.

Radical
Splash another player with a Water Pistol while that player is irradiated

The target needs to have the Water Gun equipped. The player needs to have the water pistol. Go to an area with radiation and simply shoot the target who is building up radiation while they have the water gun equipped.

Liquidator
Get a kill using a water gun.

Soaked
Soak another player above the damage threshold using a water gun.

No Pressure
Get a kill with a super soaker pumped at the lowest pressure.

Doing this achievement will always trigger the other two achievements, so it’s best to just do this achievement. Craft two water guns. The target must be wielding a water gun to build up wetness from a water gun and eventually take damage.

Target can be on the same team. Target should not be wearing anything that helps with wetness, naked works well. You can build a campfire and use it to take the target’s hp to low to make this go faster. Get it to 10 or less health.

The water gun lets you build pressure with R, but make sure you never go over 1 pump. Pump once, shoot all of the water until it stops, then repeat that. Once the target goes over the wetness threshold, then they will begin to take damage.

Cool Kids Club
Be in a team where every team member is riding a Boogie Board or Inner Tube (minimum 4 members)

Craft a pool, an Above Ground Pool will fit everyone. Then craft a total of 4 boards/tubes (can be a mix of anything). Fill the pool with water then place the tubes/boards into the pool.

Make sure everyone is in the same team and have the members mount the tubes/board in the pool.

In order to do the 2 dance achievements, the DLC is required.

Bad Neighbour
Use a megaphone while in another player’s Tool Cupboard radius.

The megaphone can be crafted, then simply go to an area with someone else’s Tool Cupboard and use the megaphone and speak into the microphone.

Full Collection
Play an instrument while floating in an Inner Tube while listening to a Boom Box play a radio stream

You can use a small paddling pool, a tube, a boom box, then any instrument. Make sure your boom box is playing a radio stream and not a cassette.

I can no longer see
Stare into a laser light for 30 seconds.

You’ll need a power source, and a laser light. Laser light can be crafted. Ideally, place it on the ground, hook it up with power, then stand on top of it and look down into it.

Listen to the Rust soundtrack from a Boom Box for 30 seconds

Either make a Boom Box or Portable Boom Box and play the Rust Sound Track. It should pop up automatically after 30 seconds.

Like Nobody’s Watching
Dance near a playing Boom Box on an active Disco Floor.

Hook up the boom box with power, then output the audio of the boom box into at least two dance floors. Then hit b to gesture and use one of the 3 dance gestures: Twist, Cabbage Patch, Raise the Roof. The achievement only checks when a new song starts, so just keep dancing.

DLC is required for this achievement.

On the Record
Record another player speaking onto a Cassette.

Craft a cassette player and a cassette. Place the cassette into the player, then right click to start recording. Simply have someone talking nearby while it records.

Party Boat
Dance with 2 other players at the front of the Cargo Ship.

All three players must be on the same team and have the DLC to dance, head to the bow of the ship and everyone can do a dance.
