В Blender 2.79 или более поздние:

Требуется видеокарта с поддержкой OpenGL 3.3 или выше.
Установка последних драйверов поможет (возможно) решить эту проблему.

Как узнать версию OpenGL
Для этого необходимо скачать программу GLview. Она покажет всю необходимую информацию о видеокарте, а так же версию OpenGL.
Как видно видеокарта Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT поддерживает OpenGL 3.3. Blender 2.79 запускается и работает исправно, без поддержки GPU-рендера. Blender 2.8 уже не работает.
Весь список видеокарт с поддержкой различных версий OpenGL можно посмотреть на сайте opengl.gpuinfo.org
С помощью AIDA64 можно посмотреть какой версии OpenGL соответствует видеокарта.

Если необходимо знать больше о видеокарте, например дату выпуска, то для этого потребуется программа TechPowerUp GPU-Z.

This section lists possible solutions for graphics glitches, problems with Eevee and Cycles, and crashes related to your GPU.
Drivers¶
Upgrading to the latest graphics drivers often solves problems. Newer drivers have bug fixes that help Blender function correctly.
On Windows drivers are provided by the graphics card manufacturer (Intel). Windows update automatically installs graphics drivers, or your computer manufacturer may provide its own version of the graphics drivers.
However, these are not always the latest version or may have been corrupted in some way. We recommend to always use the official drivers.
Laptops¶
Laptops often have two GPUs for power saving purposes. One slower onboard GPU (typically Intel) and one faster dedicated GPU for a better performance (AMD or Nvidia).
For the best performance the dedicated GPU should be used for Blender. Which GPU to use for which application can be configured in your graphics driver settings.
If there is a graphics glitch or crash specific to the onboard GPU, then using the dedicated GPU can help avoid that. Or vice versa, if the dedicated GPU causes issues, then using the onboard graphics can help.

Unsupported Graphics Driver Error¶
This means your graphics card and driver do not have the minimum required OpenGL 3.3 version needed by Blender.
Installing the latest driver can help upgrade the OpenGL version, though some graphics cards are simply too old to run the latest Blender. Using Blender 2.79 or earlier is the only option then.
Crash on Startup¶
On Windows, graphics drivers can sometimes get corrupted. In this case it can help to uninstall all graphics drivers (there may be multiple from Intel, AMD and Nvidia) and perform a clean installation with drivers from the manufacturer’s website.
Poor Performance¶
Update your graphics drivers (see above).
On laptops, make sure you are using a dedicated GPU (see above).
Try undoing settings in your graphics drivers, if you made any changes there.

Wrong Selection in 3D Viewport¶
Virtual Machines¶
Running Blender inside a virtual machine is known to have problems when OpenGL drawing calls are forwarded to the host operating system.
To resolve this, configure the system to use PCI passthrough.

To find out which graphics card and driver Blender is using, use Help ‣ Save System Info inside Blender. The OpenGL section will have information about your graphics card, vendor and driver version.

After making changes to the default appearence the program crashes upon opening.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open program for the first time. Put shader editor on a seperate window on a diferent monitor. Save startup file. Close Blender and re-open. Also happens with Dope Sheet and others.
Event Timeline
For the development team to be able to help, there needs to be either reproducible steps (start blender, press this, then that and crash) or at least a known regression (Blender version X worked, but not version Y).
Try to run blender_debug-gpu.cmd and blender_debug_gpu_glitchworkaround.cmd that are included in the download. After Blender closes, the logs will be in a text file which can be attached here.
No activity for more than a week. As per the tracker policy we assume the issue is gone and can be closed.

Ярослав, я хз, типо у меня появился пк уже с обновлёнными драйверами. Я даже через прогу проверял и писало что стоят последние дрова
Такая ж шляпа, «-opengl» запускает лаунчер, но какая то проблема со шрифтами, когда жмешь установить игру- то вылетает опять та же ошибка
не одно из способов не помогло, дрова все установлены последней версии видеокарта geforce gtx 1050ti

1. Пора бы для пятой версии создать отдельную ветку.
2. У меня графика встроенная в проц: Intel Core i3-2120 + HDGraphics 2000, винда — 10, игры 3D-работают, всё нормально, а движок, почему-то:
Aida показывает что:
«Аппаратная поддержка DirectX DirectX v10.1»
Где ФАК на подобные вопросы?

Первое что всегда нужно сделать — это обновить драйвера чипсета и самой видяхи, именно под винду 10. Винда может и сама устанавливать дрова, но они как правило глючные или не полноценные.
Если под вин 10 нету, то пробовать ставить для 8.1 или через драйверпак устанавливать https://drp.su/ru
Хотя может быть Крайтеки заточили движок под директ 11 и по этому не будет работать.

У меня стационар с одной встроенной видеокартой.
Я скачал с сайта Микрософт, по ссылке на форуме, автономный инсталлятор, он мне чего-то понаустанавливал, но ни чего не изменилось — dxdiag по прежнему показывает версию «12» — встроенную в систему, а «Cry» по прежнему отказывается работать по причине отсутствия аппаратной реализации. Общим — не получилось.
Вероятно нужно переходить на другой движок — на какой? Какой из удобных для новичка движков нормально работает с DirectX 10?
